Who doesn't like having their pores crystal clear? I know I do and it's something I always strive to have, however it's not easy. Clogged pores are super common due to oils, dirt, environment pollution in the air, and left over makeup being stuck and building up in our pores. So what can you do to clear them out? Below are my 3 favourite skincare products that help me with clearing out my pores.
1) Pore extracting tool: After I've double cleansed my face in the shower, I use my Cala pore extracting tool to extract my pores of any blackheads. I love doing this step while I'm in the shower because the warm water really opens up my pores and since my skin is wet it makes it easier for the tool to glide over my skin extracting my pores. I purchased my tool from a local Winners but you can purchase one at any department drug store. I will typically do this 3x a week when I do my pamper routine before bed.
2) Caudalie Purifying Mask: This mask is my holy grail for clearing my pores! I've tried several different charcoal masks/ clay masks/ drugstore or higher end clarifying masks but the Caudalie Instant Detox and the Purifying Mask have been the only clay masks that I find that really cleans my pores without over drying my skin. Since I have recently finished my Instant Detox Mask I am now using the Purifying Mask. I also will use this mask up to 3x a week depending on how clogged my pores are. If I'm having a good skin week than I'll use this mask maybe once a week and I'll use a moisturizing mask instead on the other days. You can pick up this mask from Sephora or my personal favourite Clean Beauty website "Socialite Modern Luxe Beauty.
3) Caudalie Vinopure Natural Salicylic Acid Pore Minimizing Toner: Since discovering this toner I have noticed that it has helped with exactly it says in it's description. "A pore-diminishing toner powered by 100 percent natural salicylic acid to control oil and diminish the appearance of future blackheads and breakouts." Now I do still have visible pores of course but they've definitely not have been as clogged anymore. This toner is definitely more on the drying side for the skin so since I do use this everyday, 2x a day (morning and night), I use a hydrating toner afterwards.
Using these 3 products have really helped me with clearing my skin of my problematic blackheads. After trying so many different types of products and tools, I find that these 3 are easiest enough to use in the comfort of my home and giving myself some pampering time. I hope that you are able to find these products helpful as much as they have been for me.
